Terms of Use

This page sets out what can honestly be said about using www.weekendvines.com. It covers what the site is, what happens when a link is followed, and what this text is not able to promise. The scope is limited to what the build of the site actually contains.

This build has no room for a company name or a legal forum

There is no registration process, no account system and no form or input field anywhere on this site. Nothing can be submitted, so nothing can be created, suspended, terminated or transferred, and no visitor-generated content exists here at all.

The build also carries no e-mail address, telephone number, postal address or contact form. Because of that, these terms cannot name a counterparty, promise a complaints channel or state a response time. Any such promise would be invented, so none is made.

The site itself is a fixed set of published pages

www.weekendvines.com is a static publication. Every page is a file built ahead of time and served from a content delivery network, with no server-side application behind it. The sitemap lists a single address, and that published inventory was fixed when the site was built.

Each page carries a publication date and a modification date in its structured data, and that modification date matches the one the sitemap publishes. A reader can use that date to know exactly which version of this text they are looking at.

Everything a page needs to display — styles, scripts, fonts and images — is loaded from this same domain. No third-party server is contacted while a page is being shown. If an address is mistyped or no longer exists, the visitor is shown a page marked so that search engines skip and ignore it, and is sent straight back to the home page rather than being left on a broken address.

Following a link hands the visitor to a separate operator

This site runs no gambling service of its own. An operator link on this site never opens the operator directly. Instead, it is an address on this domain that answers with a redirect and passes the visitor on to the operator's own tracking address. The build defines ten such redirect rules, and every one of them points outside this domain.

Each of these links is marked as a sponsored link and opens in a separate tab. Clicking one means leaving this site: the destination is a different operator's site, reached directly by the visitor's browser, and it keeps its own record of that visit.

What the reader should take from this instead of a borrowed clause

Because there is no account, no submission and no stored visitor content, there is nothing on this site for terms of service to govern beyond the pages themselves.

The only terms that actually bind a visitor once a link is followed are the ones published by the operator at the other end of that redirect. Nothing on this page substitutes for reading those.
